Bins are washed and disinfected on a regular basis with chemicals supplied by us. Daily tasks are general housekeeping of service areas, waste rooms and back alleys.

SITE RECYCLING
ACTIVITY

A main refuse area will be identified where the on-site waste management service will be implemented. All the necessary staff PPE, bins and purpose-made recycling equipment will be provided in line with site operation requirements to ensure maximum recycling efficiency. Bins are placed at strategic points and restaurant (if any) back-of-house areas. Our staff continually checks and controls the bins. Bins are taken to the waste area where dry and wet waste (non recyclable) is transferred into containers ready for collection by the waste removal contractor. Recyclable materials will be sorted, graded according to type and stored in bags ready for collection by our truck. The frequency of the recyclable material collection will depend on the volumes being generated. All waste will be handled in the parameters of strict legislation.

ALTHOUGH WE ENDEAVOR TO PROVIDE A ONE STOP SERVICE, IT WAS DECIDED TO STIPULATE EXACTLY WHAT SERVICES WE CAN PROVIDE OURSELVES AND WHAT SERVICES WILL BE OUTSOURCED. WE WILL HOWEVER FACILITATE THE WHOLE PROCESS AT WHICH POINT ONLY A SINGLE BILL IS ISSUED.

MANAGEMENT DUTIES

The Operations Manager is responsible for

  • everyday general enquiries
  • generating monthly reports for clients
  • overall operational issues
  • receive and respond to direct reports from Contracts Manager
  • attend operational meetings
  • ensure an overall high standard of service is maintained in line with company policies
  • bi-weekly site visits

The Contracts Manager is responsible for

  • maintain existing client basis
  • keeping clients constantly updated new rates and industry developments
  • develop account plans and strategies in line with the overall strategy formulated by the Operations Manager
  • create tailored solutions which meet the client’s short and long-term communications needs
  • provide training and development of all staff members.
  • ensure that all service providers in his/her portfolio comply with the company policies and procedure
  • review performance of all staff members on a regular basis
  • client liaison and entertainment.
  • provide after-sales service to clients
  • maintain correct information about clients, budget, planning periods and operational activity
  • build and maintain a strong working relationship with clients
  • receive and respond to direct reports from the Area Manager
  • weekly site visits

The Area Manager is responsible for

  • everyday general enquiries from staff on site
  • reporting of problems at site
  • respond to direct instructions from Contracts Manager
  • closely monitoring service standards of work at site
  • request for consumable materials, staff PPE, request waste and recyclable material removal from site
  • daily site visits

COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING

All communication from clients, managers, and staff will be routed through 012 543 1168, our single point of contact. This includes general enquiries and sales related requests from clients, reporting of on-site operations from the contracts manager, load reporting, request for collections from the area manager and general enquiries from staff.
